The Art of the TrumperTantrum

Donald Trump as a baby throwing a temper tantrum.

Ah, the TrumperTantrum, a modern masterpiece in public meltdown performance art. Somewhere between a toddler denied a Happy Meal and a reality show contestant who just got voted off the island, the TrumperTantrum is equal parts spectacle and secondhand embarrassment.

You’ll know one when you see it. It usually starts with an ALL CAPS tweet (or “TRUTH,” depending on the social platform of the week), filled with words like WITCH HUNT, RIGGED, and SAD! Then comes the finger-pointing, the sudden amnesia (“Never met that person in my life!” “I never said that!”), and finally, the grand finale: the self-declaration of victory, regardless of the score.

Historians will debate the significance of these outbursts for years to come. Was it political theater? Performance anxiety? Hard to say. But one thing’s for sure, no one can throw a tantrum quite like a man who insists he never loses.

So, grab your popcorn, America. The next TrumperTantrum is always just one indictment, poll, or late-night comedy sketch away.

Because sometimes democracy doesn’t need a debate… it just needs a timeout.
